Isabela is a romance option for Hawke, the player character of Dragon Age 2. As when Isabela askes when they get back to Kirkwall, Fenris already knows what she’s hinting at, saying, “Not in front of everyone, if you please.” This gets a rise out of Isabela, as Fenris had been blushing. While Isabela is open about their relationship, as she is about all of her sexual escapades, Fenris is not. Fenris jokes if she was expecting flowers, leading to Isabela telling him not to be absurd. This will prompt Fenris to stating that “he’ll see her later,” surprising Isabela with his directness. If not, their FWB relationship will become known when Isabela mentions how she can’t stop thinking about “that night”. Even if Fenris is in a romance with Hawke, Isabela will flirt with him, however Fenris will turn her down and suggest “keeping distance”. Should Isabela or Fenris not be in a romance with Hawke, they will get together in a purely physical, friends with benefits relationship. She ends up stabbing and killing Devon with her dragger after he threatens to reveal to King Alistair what happened in the Venefication Sea. In the present, Isabela is no longer fond of him.
